Cyprus College is the Forum’s Cyprus Partner

Recently, the World Economic Forum published its 2006-7 Global Competitiveness Report. 2006-7 Produced in collaboration with leading academics and a global network of 130 Partner Institutes in 125 countries, this annual study is a valuable tool for shaping economic policy and guiding investment decisions. It is one of the leading monitors of the competitive condition of economies worldwide. The Cyprus College Research Center is the Forum’s Cyprus Partner, together with the Cyprus Development Bank. The report is unique in that the methodology combines publicly available data with survey data that captures the perceptions and observations of business leaders in a given country. The Center undertakes an annual survey of Cypriot business leaders and the survey data are sent to Switzerland, to the Forum’s headquarters for the compilation of the competitiveness indices.
