| Mr. George Panayiotou, RC Associate Director, Coordinator of Laboratory of Exercise, Health and Human Performance |

Mr. George Panayiotou acquired his bachelor degree in Physical Education and Sports Science at the Aristotle University of Thessalonica, with specialization in Soccer and adapted physical activity. His MSc in Coaching Science was acquired at the Democritus University of Thrace. He is currently preparing his Doctoral Theses at the same university under the supervision of Professor Dr. Tokmakides. His research interests focus on coaching, on resistance training, and the effect of training athlete's immune system. He serves as the Coordinator of the Laboratory of Exercise, Health and Human Performance and the Associate Director of the Research Center of Cyprus College.
George speaks fluent English and Greek.

| Ms. Celia Hadjichristodoulou, Research Associate |
|
Celia studied for a BSc in Accounting & Finance at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK, where she was awarded with a First Class. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, she continued her postgraduate studies (MPhil) in Management Studies at Cambridge University. Her MPhil dissertation examined the "Social/Psychological Factors affecting the success/failure in M & A activity: Partner Selection Criteria".
Upon completion of her studies she returned to Cyprus where she worked as a part-time lecturer of Accounting and Organizational Behavior at Cyprus College. Since October 2005 she has been employed as a Research Associate at the Research Center. Her main duties include the preparation and submission of research proposals, both in national and international level. She is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the network of partners from European Universities, institutions and research centers. Finally she acts as the coordinator of financial transactions of funded projects, recording all receipts and payments in relation to each individual project as well as informing partners about financial issues of their projects.
Celia is fluent in English and Greek

| Ms. Anastasia Soteriou, Center Administrator |
|
Anastasia is the administrator of RC and secretary of Cyprus College Research Committee. Anastasia has an extensive experience in administering and handling various research tasks. Currently she is responsible (among other tasks) for maintaining the Research Database of RS and for coordinating the administrative duties of various National and European projects carried out by the College.
Anastasia is fluent in English and Greek

| Ms. Marina Demetriou, Research Administrator |
|
Marina studied for her BA in Business Administration, with concentration in Marketing, at the Ioannis Gregoriou School of Business, Cyprus College. Her dissertation for her BÁ Degree was on Social Impacts of Tourism and more specifically on the "Revitalization and repositioning of Ayia Napa as a Tourist destination". Upon completing her BA, Marina participated in the annual Leadership and Community Service Program, which took place in Washington DC, USA and was funded by the United States Department of States. Following her return to Cyprus she began her studies for attaining an MBA and at the same time she was employed at the Research Center of Cyprus College as a Research Administrator. She currently participated in Research Projects that examine the social impacts of tourism and the development of sustainable products. She also assists on the preparation and submission of national and international research projects.
She speaks fluent English and Greek and she has knowledge of Spanish.

| Mr. Alexis Polemitis, Research Associate |
|
Alexis Polemitis acquired his Bachelor degree in Physical Education with a specialization on Adapted Physical Education at Democritus University of Thrace. In 2005 he completed his MSc in Health and Recreation from the same university. His research interests focus on the areas of sport recreation and health, sport tourism, and the participation of special population groups in sport activities. He is also a research Assistant in the Research Center of Cyprus College.
Alexis speaks fluent English and Greek.

| Ms. Lina Tsoumpanou, Research Associate |
|
Lina studied for a BA in Philosophy, Pedagogics and Psychology at the National Kapodistriako University of Athens (2000) and a BA in International Relations and European Studies at the Panteio University of Politics and Sociology (2005). In between the two degrees, Lina completed an MA in Euro-Mediterranean Studies at the University of Reading (2003), with her dissertation assessing the impact of the European Convention on Human Rights upon Turkey's bid for membership with the EU.
During her second BA degree, Lina had the opportunity to work for the European Parliament, Office for Greece (Athens), at the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, with her research responsibilities focusing on European Union's Public Relations. She has also worked as a part-time research trainee at the Greek Institute of European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and the Institute of International Relations Panteio University (ÉÄÉÓ)
Since March 2006 she is employed as a Research Associate at the Research Center, where she acts as a co-ordinator of an EU funded project, the European Social Survey (ESS) Round 3 (2006): Measuring social and political change in Europe. Moreover, she participates in the preparation and submission of research proposals at national and European level.
Lina is fluent in English and has knowledge of French and Spanish.

| Mr. Trifonas Tofas, Research Associate |
|
Trifonas studied for a BA in Physical Education and Sports at the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science in the University of Thessaly in Greece and he continued his postgraduate studies (MA) in exercise and sports science with main concentration in Exercise and Quality of Life, University of Thrace, Greece. He also has a BA in Primary School Education at the Department of Humanities in the University of Thessaly. During the past four years he worked in the Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry lab of the Exercise and Sports Science Department in the University of Thessaly, where he got involved in several research projects and physical fitness assessments. His particular interests lie in exercise physiology, and he has made a number of presentations in International Conferences and published articles in international Journals on the subject. Currently he is a research assistant at the Laboratory of Exercise Science & Human Performance in Cyprus College. He speaks fluent English and Greek.

| Mrs. Marina Rigou, Research Officer |

Mrs. Marina Rigou acquired her associate degree in Public and Business Administration at the University of Cyprus where she continued her BBA at Cyprus College, with double specialization in Marketing and Management. She completed her MBA (with honors) majoring in Human Resource Management at the University of New Haven, Connecticut U.S.
She has been working for the Center of Applied Research since 1998. She has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research that is socio – economic research, social - political and opinion research, and market research. She is responsible of the market research of the department which specializes in Consumer research, Industrial and Business-to-Business research, Product market assessment, Trade and exhibition surveys, Media research, Research for financial institutions, Research for public institutions and Ad hoc research.
She has also developed the qualitative research method of focus groups at the Center of Applied Research. She is a member at the ISSP (International Social Survey Programmes), which is the largest organization of its kind in the world and is a highly regarded international institution for social research.

| Ms. Andri Christophorou, Research Officer |
|
Andri completed her BA in Psychology at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, United States. Her graduate studies at Roosevelt University led to the acquisition of MA in Clinical Psychology with major concentration on personality and psychodramatic research. Her MA thesis examined the psychometric properties of Spontaneity Assessment Inventory and Spontaneity Deficit Inventory, as well as the association with anxiety, compulsive behavior and time orientation scales. She is a lifetime a member of Psi Chi, Golden Key International Honour Society, Gamma Beta Phi Society (academic honor societies) and also a member of Cyprus Psychologists’ Association. During her studies, she volunteered to a variety of non-profit social services/ mental health institutions both in Cyprus and the United States. Since 2005, she is employed as a Research Officer at Cyprus College, where she participates in various national and European research projects. She is responsible for the data processing and statistical analysis of all RC projects, and also for the quality control of academic research projects. In addition, her professional experience includes teaching research methods for psychology and social sciences at the undergraduate level.

| Mr. Karun Kumar Reddy Nimmakayala, Web Developer |
|
Karun Nimmakayala is working for Internet and Multimedia Laboratory/Research Center/Cyprus College, since Oct 2003, as a Web Developer. For the past 3 years he was employed as Web programmer at Cyprus College.
In October 2004, Karun has been awarded full scholarship for his MBA from Cyprus College. He also completed successfully his Masters in Information System (Cyprus College/Kingston University-UK). Karun also has a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications, (Bharathhiyar University/India.) Since his graduation he has been involved in different Research tasks and Research Projects.
Karun is fluent in Hindi, Telugu and English.

| Mr. Vamsee Vanaparthy, Web Programmer |
|
Vamsee Vanaparthy studied BSc in Computer Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. During this period he completed his diploma in computer applications. Following his undergraduate studies he continued his post graduate studies for an MSc Information Systems from Kingston University, UK (in collaboration with Cyprus college). Since his graduation Vamsee was working with many companies as a web and database developer.
He was awarded a full scholarship for his MBA from Cyprus College which he is currently pursuing while at the same time he is employed as a web programmer for the Research Center [Internet and Multimedia Lab] Cyprus College. As a part of his duty he is involved in development of web applications.
Vamsee is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu.
He has been the President of Indian Student Association, Cyprus College.
